Critics Reaction to the first major London Revival of Philip Ridley’s

‘MERCURY FUR’

"Almost unbearable to watch yet so compelling you can't stop watching... There are some standout performances from the young cast, and the play is perfectly matched to this here-today-gone-tomorrow pop-up venue"

Lyn Gardner, THE GUARDIAN

"Chris Urch as Darren fearlessly harness’s and rides Ridley's powerful dialogue"

Peter Lathan, BRITISH THEATRE GUIDE

"It is testament to the impressive cast that a certain energy that other productions can only dream about is grabbed by the throat from the opening scene and only ratcheted up to almost unbearable levels as the performance progresses"

Patrick Cash: REMOTE GOAT

Chris played the role of Darren in the first major London revival of Philip Ridley’s ‘Mercury Fur’. The production is produced by Theatre Delicatessen and is directed by Frances Loy.
